i do agree that they seem to be two different people. As i said she is not my family but i will still be looking for info on her and if i do find it i will post it for everyone. I seem to remember someone telling me a few years ago that there was the possiblity that her parents were not married so that might be why it it so hard to find out anything about them. She does seem to be one elusive lady. and it is possible that if her parents were not married then Cross might be the mothers maiden name and if that is the case it would be even harder to find. I will keep looking. Sue
