For those of you that have been searching all these years for James & Angeletta Gadberry in 1880 census, they have been found. In 1880 they were in Osborne County, Delhi Township, Kansas. The reason they never could be found was because they are listed as Godberry and not Gadberry.

According to Angeletta's death records, they sold out from Putnam county, Missouri and came to Kansas. They didn't like it in Kansas so they came back and settled in Grundy County, Missouri. Until now nobody was able to find where in Kansas the went.

James Gadberry was born in Kentucky and was beileved to be the son of Greenberry Gadberry. James Gadberry was also the father of Milton Granville Gadberry who fought in the Civil War.
