Corinna, I looked in the Van Buren County Cemetery listings and couldn't find Ishum Cook. Did he serve in the civil war? Could he have been buried in Cleburne County? I found the family in the 1860 Census and I'm sending that along in case you don't have this info. I will check the 1870 Census when I get a chance to go to Clinton. Which might be a few weeks or so.Here is the family census: H# F# Name Age Sex R Prof Birth 151 154 Isham Cook 37 M W farmer AL Rhoda M. 27 F W TN James 15 M W laborer TN Mary J. 13 F W TN Wm. P. 11 M W TN Francis D. 5 F W TN Cynthia C. 2 F W TN In the Van Buren County marriages I found a Rody Cook that married a Jess R Shipp in 1868 in book 1 pg. 1140, which is available through the courthouse or Historical society. It doesn't list a month or day unfortunately. I hope this info is somewhat helpful and I will keep looking. Bye for now, Donna
