I have been reseaching my Mom's family name "Woods" "Gadbois" "Vandandaque" for years. The family was on the Indian lands near Cornwall when they were married. Regis (Richard) Vandandaque dit Gadbois married Nancy Fitzpatrick in 1832. When Nancy dies in Penetang, Ontario (1890)it says Nancy Woods dit Gadbois, Vandandaque. I have Regis's father from the marriage certificate- Joseph from St. Vincent, Quebec. Does this help you?Pat MacMillan imacmill@interlog.com
