My ggggrandmother was Sarah L. Cooke, married to Capt. William Goodgion. Their daughter, Nancy Susan Goodgion married James P. Potts in Maury Co., TN and Sarah and the Potts came to TX through MS. The Potts ended up in the Sulphur Springs area. It is very likely that some onf Sarah Cooke's family also came to the area.
