I'm researching William Pleasant Gafford. Born in AR 1833, married Evaline/Evelyn Bond in 1857 in Johnson Co, TX. My husband descends from their child, Edmond "Edd" Carter Gafford (wife Josie Hale). Would like to know where in AR William came from and any older family lines that can be traced. Hood County History Book by Thomas Ewell indicates that father of William "Pleas" was Wm. Gafford, presumably the Sr. Anyone else researching this line? Drop me a line so we can join forces! Thanks...
