Thank you for submitting this information on Israel Beard Gafford and wife, Amelia Rowsom/Rowson. This helps trace their migration from 1850 Marion Co, Alabama. We found them living next door to her parents, John and Rosannah Rowsom and sister, Elmira Rowsom and husband, Thomas Galbreath. It seems that Amelia's sister, Martha Rowsom/Rawson married Israel's brother, Thomas Jesse Gafford in Tuscaloosa Co, Ala. They also moved to Ms and on to Texas. Elmira and some of her children and families moved to Texas after 1870, probably after her mother died. It is exciting to discover new information for the family lines and see a broader picture.
Thanks! Barbara and David
