I have never heard of anything other than BUNCH being Vicy's maiden name.

In a book of "Early Alabama Marriages" it just shows NORTHON [sic], William S. married BUNCH, Vicy Ann on 22 MArch 1842 in Chambers County, AL. The marriage license may be filed under NORTHON in Chamber Co., I haven't tried to get a copy yet.

In E. E. Northen's book he only refers to William Stephen NORTHEN marrying a Miss BUNCH. He didn't have a first name or date.

I've seen Levina, Ann, and variations of Vicy all used as first names. Vicy may be a nickname derived from Levina.
