New to the site but I see alot of postings from way back asking about the Gafford cemetery. Since I was little (30 now) the family cemetery in Tn. was always Heflen and when my grandfather was alive (Junior Ray Gafford, son of Edgar C. Gafford) he told me that most of our family was buried there, also many of the headstones were almost underground from years of neglect and i suppose they are covered now, the last time I was there I believe I was around 10. So many people looking for the final resting place of their ancestors may notbe far off track at Heflen, only years and mother nature hid them.
