Tracy & Dean:

I received some information about our Grandfather Samuels' family. You may already have this information, but thought I would pass it along just in case.
Samuel Gafford: father was Robert Gafford b.
1845 in Montgomery Co. he married Minerva Green about 1881, she was b. 1866. Robert Gafford: was the seventh child of James Gafford b. 1815 in Dickson County he married Sarah Dicuso in 1833. James Gafford: was the sixth child of Michael Gafford born 1765 in Lunenburg VA. married Caroline Warren, he died in 1838. Michael was the youngest son of Thomas Gafford born around 1722 in Scotland, married Mary Elizabeth Hinton about 1742 and died in Lauren County South Carolina about 1799.

James and Michael Gafford are suppose to be buried in the Gafford Branch Cemetary in Dickson Co. I am trying to find out where it is located. Hope I have helped a little on your search.

Your cousin Patsy Gafford Tucker
