Kelly Gafford is a distant cousin of mine. I don't know a Frances but I do know some things about Kelly. He was born 7-20-1888 in San Angelo, Texas. His father's name was James K. Gafford, Born July 1851 in Mississippi. His mother was Terressie E. Marshal. Kelly was married to Guadalupe (Last Name unknown)1917. They had one Daughter, Lydia. He never devorced her. He went to Las Angeles and was a Stunt man there. He got the Governor's daughter Pregnate and was run out of California and told never to return. He lived with a woman named Rebecca Duran for several years, she had a son named Arturo, He took Kelly's last name of Gafford for his own. They had a daughter named Florance Isabel Gafford. He married Rebecca in Las Cruces, NM. in 1948. He also had a family in Jaurez Mexico which was kept secret from his wife Rebecca but his chil;dren knew about it. He had several children in mexico. He died in January 1962 in El Paso, TX. Sorry I can't help you with a Frances but maybe this will tell you about your Grandfather.Sorry it is not a better story. I would like to know about you and your family to add to my family tree.
Lola
