I have information that says that I.B. Gafford did serve in the Confederate states Army in Company H, 22nd Mississippi Infantry. This unit fought at the battles of Corrinth, Shiloh, and Vicksburg. I.B. was slightly wounded and captured at Vicksburg, then later paroled. You can email me at lynnherrin@aol.com.
