Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

My ggrandfather was Benjamin Franklin Gahagan, who spent most of his life in Prentiss County Mississippi (near Booneville). He was born in Alabama. He married Effie Verden, and they had five (or possibly six) sons and four daughters. One son was Raymond Levi Gahagan, my grandfather.

B.F. Gahagan reportedly was buried in Blythe Chapel Cemetery in or near Booneville. I am looking for more information about the family, in particular, B. F.'s birth and death dates.
