Mr. O'Brien,
I ran across this web sight, and I have heard of Cornelius's name before. This could be a wild goose chase but my great-grandfather Edwin (or Edward) Gahagan was born in Ireland and came to Wisconsin (Sheboygan County-actually the Town of Mitchell otherwise known as Parnell). Anyway my grandmother has told me that Edward or Edwin Gahagan had quite a few brothers and sisters. I have been looking for our family history and have been too busy to jump into this string of the family. As far as I know all of the Gahagan's in this area are related through this link. I believe I have run across the name Cornelius in this research, however my grandfather is getting old and forgetful so its been kind of hard to find all of the right information.
