I was so excited to stumble across your message. My mother and myself started researching last summer, and we've not done terribly well. Family tradition has it that my mothers grandfather or great granfather Stepha/en Gahagan was a sculptor and from what we can gather this was a family profession. We believe there may possible have been two Stepha/en's, father and son and that the father of the older Stepha/n was probably Vincent. Could you tell me how I could get a look at your family tree to see if it could help us with our research? I would be more than happy to share what I have gleaned from Royal Academy and the National Art Library, if you do not already have that information. I look forward to your reply with great interest. Joy
