Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum
message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles
will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will
no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.
Hello, Tavis Fiscel. Although I know nothing of your Gallegos family, I wish you luck in tracking them. You need addresses, at least the state or town of your grandparent, to even look up Federal census records on the internet or other sources. Birth dates, baptism ,marriage or divorce records, even old cemetary records can help. I knew nothing of my paternal Grandmother when I began a family search, and now I know the name of my first Gallegos ancestor in New Mexico by these searches. Also, often an unknown cousin will pop up in the Message Boards to help if given enough initial info. Good Hunting, LD
