Helen
Ellen Galvin was a widow 1900 census, living in Portland. Census stated she was mother of 5 children, 4 living, son John F. Galvin age 17 was living with her. the other two sons were living in Grants Pass OR, Thomas age 24 and Morris F. age 21 Galvin. Who was the other child? Maybe Rose. The father John had passed away, was his probate checked for the childrens names?
I think the letter was written in the time period 1880 to 1910, the reason, I have a family letter that uses almost the same wording. Expressing love to a girl.
