Sorry if this topic was raised in the past, but I am very much interested in understanding what is the history of the Galvin surname in Spain, in particular in places like Cadiz province where seems to be somewhat present.
My interest comes from my Grandmother Dolores Galvin who lived in a beautiful twon called "Arcos de la Frontera" in Cadiz. My understanding is that this is the same Irish Galvin surname, probably as a result of the Irish immigration we received in Spain back in the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries.
