Hello Deidre
I have read your email and I think Julia Galvin was one of my mother's older sisters. My mother was Jenny born in Kenmare in 1917, 13th child of 14 children. My grandparents were Katherine and Michael Galvin. Other members of the 14 children were Dan, Michael, John, Pat, Tim, Dan, Margaret, Nora, Jimmy, Betty, Nelly and Katie. I feel sure that Julia Galvin would have been my aunt who went to America. I hope this information is helpful. Any information regarding your family would be appreciated.
Regards
Wendy Brown
