Dear Pat,
Congradulations.....When last we chatted you were having problems.I get so thrilled and happy when someone I know and have chatted with finds there family.
I'm still in the same place,(no Grt. Grandfathers roots with one minis now). In speaking with my sister, she said that my father always said County Cork, and when I called my father from Ireland in 1982 to get some sort of idea where the family came from, he toldf me Galway. Then some years later, when I first started this hunt I'm on, I spoke to a cousin in New Jersey and he told me County Clare. So here I am in Long Island, New York working on my family history, changing all my files in the computer to read now PATRICK GALVIN, BORN IRELAND / DIED BROOKLYN, NEW YORK 1922.I'm not even sure of his birth year, it could be 1838 or 1841 or 1847.
Congrads again, and keep in touch.
