Hello,

I am searching for the family of Melvin Gandy from Texas. I know he was in the Army in WWII, battle of D-Day. He was injured in 1942/1943 approx. and discharged.

I would really love to find out what happened to this man as he was my grandfathers best friend. They were in the service together in WWII. My grandfather is 90 years old and in ill health, he would love to find out what happened to his friend. The last letter recieved was in the late forties and mentioned Melvin had married and was living back in Texas. If anyone out there knows of Mr. Gandy please share your information with me.

Sincerely,

Sheri Riley - California
