Thank you again. You have been so kind to share your family history with me.
Have your GANGWISH relatives ever met any of the MCKEE or PARMENTER descendants. I was just curious.
I'll bet Phoebe Jane (CHESSHIRE) had a quite colorful life. Probably some interesting stories of families in Illinois, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Texas and Arkansas.
I have wondered if any of Phoebe's descendants ever came back to visit Illinois?
I love to hear everyone's family stories. I want my grandchildren to know about their ancestors lives and their struggles in early America up to the present day.
I was a Librarian Volunteer at the LDS Family History Center for years in New Mexico until we moved to Texas.
Her sister my great-grandmother Rachel Lee (CHESSHIRE) HIMES never left the state of Illinois. She was born in Sangamon Co, IL and also lived in Christian, Shelby and Fayette Co, IL.
