Just checked the 1880 Federal Census and found my husband's great-grandparents. Gustavus & Julia V. (Gardiner) Fuller were living in Pawtucket RI. He was 38 and a blacksmith. She was 27 and at home. They had two sons by then listed as Gardiner V. Fuller age 8 b. about 1872 & Robert G. Fuller age 3 born about 1877 with no mention of my husband's grandfather, Herbert G. Fuller. We have one record that indicates Herbert was born in 1877 and Robert in 1876 so it's kind of confusing. We think the two older boys were born in Maine and Herbert was born in RI. Gustavus and Julia are buried in the Walnut Hill Cemetery in Pawtucket.
