Could my gardiner's be related to your gardiners? I am looking for a James Gardiner who was born in the 1700's in Ireland. He married Mary Egan and they had a daughter named Mary Gardiner in 1834. Mary Gardiner was born in Cootehill, Ireland.

Could James and Francis be siblings or cousins?

I am wondering if that is why James and his daughter Mary emigrated to Ontario, Canada. Because they had relatives in Ontario?
