Walter Palmer Gardiner was born 24 May 1883 in Exeter, Washington County, RI to Pardon Tillinghast Gardiner and Ella Woodmansee.
Walter married 1st to Maud Lillian Beswick on 18 October 1909. Walter was age 26 and Maud was age 34.
Walter married 2nd to Nellie Frances Briggs Moon on 24 July 1911. Walter was age 29 and Nellie was age 56. Nellie is the daughter of Thomas Briggs and Frances Browning of Hopkinton, Washington County. Nellie was 1st married to Isaac Henry Moon. They were married for 33 years. A few years after his death, is when she married Walter.
Walter married 3rd to Mary A. Studley in 1921.
My Questions:
I would like to find out what happened to wife #1 - Maud Beswick and if there were and children from this marriage.
I would like to find out if Walter and wife #2 - Nellie - actually got a divorce or if they just went their separate ways. The last record I find for Nellie Briggs Moon Gardiner is in the 1940 census and she is living with her sister Bertha Briggs Jencks.
I would like to find out if Nellie had children with her 1st husband Isaac Moon.
