Here's what I know. Petrus Palmatier (b. Aug 16, 1797, Schoharie Co., NY) md. Abigail Garfield.They had Charles Palmatier (b. 1824, NY; d. Jan. 2,1899 Deposit, NY).md. Delilah Vanderwalker.Charles is my gggg grandfather.
I have some Gortons in my family tree as well.What ancestry do you have for Collins Gorton?I'd also be interested in Rebecca and Collins Gorton's children.
I do have ancestors for Petrus. He was the son of Michael Palmatier (b. Oct. 19, 1777, Poughkeepsie, NY) and Hannah Carman (b. 1770, Dutchess Co., NY)
Michael was the son of Petrus Palmatier (b. Aug 31, 1745, Poughkeepsie, NY) and Sara Swarthout (b. May 27, 1739, Poughkeepsie, NY)
Petrus was the son of Michael Palmatier (b. May 6, 1711, Kingston NY; d. 1771) and Ariantje Hegeman (b. 1717, Poughkeepsie, NY
Michael was the son of Petrus (Peter) Michael Parmentier (b. June 6, 1680, Bushwick, NY; d. 1770) and Sarah Van Kleeck (b. 1682, Albany, NY; d. 1713, Poughkeepsie, NY)
Petrus was the son of Michael Parmentier (b. 1653/54 , Courtrai, Belguim; d. 1729, Poughkeepsie, NY) and Neeltje Cornelia Damen (b. 1659, Bunnick-on-the-Rhine; d. 1739, Poughkeepsie, NY)
Michael was the son of Pierre Parmentier and Antonette Terrin
