Hi, Barbara; I'm new to this site. I am a great-great-grandson of Garlington Leake, and can supply you (or anyone interested) with info on him and his descendants. We had assumed that he was the son of Revd Samuel Leake (1773-1836) and his wife Jane, whom we had thought might be a daughter of John Garlington. Are you sure he's actually James's son? Also, do you happen to know anything about William Sr's parentage?
