Sorry I don't live in Louisiana. I live in Washington State so am farther away than you are and I have only been in Texas once which was to transfer planes. I have put some of the material at so you can search on Jesse there. I am trying to put notes on each to show where I got the info. I do have a copy of his death cert and his obit. He died in Arizona and they are great about the cost of documents. Their archives will do it for postage and copy cost instead of the 10 or 20 that other states require. My home e-mail is contact me and I will make arrangements to e-mail you electronic copies of things I have if you like.

My husband is the Garlington but I got interested in his family because of a photo my son was given of a Garlington from Texas named Herman. My son wanted to know how he was related to this person in the picture.

Jesse's son shot a man in Nevada and was ordered by the judge to get out of Virginia City before the family came looking for him so maybe the trend runs in the family and John Hubbard did the same.
