Thomas Crawley Garlington and Elizabeth Edmondson were my great-great grandparents. He was the son of Joseph and Nancy Hull Crawley Garlington born on July 6, 1815 in Troup County, Georgia, , died on July 30, 1903 and was buried in Midway Church Cementary, Chambers County, Alabama. He was married (by Rev. I. Thorton) on December 10, 1835 to Elizabeth who was born on April 2, 1820 in Green County, Georgia and she died on October 27, 1901 and is buried next to Thomas. She was the daughter of William and Dinah Edmondson of Green County, Georgia. They established a home on 1000 acres between Camp Hill and LaFayette, Alabama and they had 12 children. The seventh child, Robert A. Garlington is my greatgrandfather and he is buried in Quanah, Texas. There is book with more information: "The Garlington Family" by Thesta Kennedy Scogland. Library of Congress # 75-42802.
