I post this with blushing-red face. In my earlier message, I referred to the 1850 census in Calcasieu Parish LA. I MEANT the 1870 census!!!! That makes a BIG DIFFERENCE, doesn't it?? I am so sorry! I just posted a correction right after my earlier message. I was not aware that you had responded to this message until just now. I thought all of these boards sent you e-mail to let you know if someone responded, but apparently not. I will check in more often, knowing that.
Yes!! Let's compare notes and see if we can help each other with our GARLINGTONs. Mine are a mess too!!
