Sue, What are these UNK references you mention? That's a new one. Jonathan, the Susan that Sue is referring to is Susan Albright who first married John and Elizabeth's son Benjamin, and after his death, his brother Michael. Michael lived and died in Cumberland County. Sue, you sent me an email awhile back talking about a Catarina GARMAN (born 1790 in Northumberland County) who married a Johannes WERTZ also of Northumerland. Jonathan, any connection (was WERT also WERTZ)? In addition to the John and Barbara buried at Shoop's, there was another John and Barbara (VERNER) GARMAN who settled around 1790 near the town of Dauphin in Middle Paxton Township. I believe at least two of their sons moved north, one going to Juniata County and the second up river. This would not have been until the early 1800's. Long time, no hear, Sue. Jim
