William A. Garman was in the Company H of the 63rd Enrolled Militia Missouri Infantry formed 1864; in the same 63rd there were Eli Cox, James L. Cox, John W. Cox and William D. Cox along with Andrew J. Smith, Henry Smith, Henry W. Smith, James P. Smith, John W. Smith, Thomas Smith, and William C. Smith. Curious if you could claim any of them. I'm seeking a possible Smith/Cox line in south MO that branched to ARK and TX in the 1860-70's. Appreciate any information.
