GARMAN - Cemetery, Dauphin County, Pa.
Garman - While biking this morning on a back road, I found a church with a For Sale sign in front and stopped to take a look. The adjacent cemetery has grave stones going back to 1800 and there are quite a few Garmans buried here, one a Civil War soldier wounded at the Battle of Spotsylvania and later died from those wounds. Many of the markers are very readable, although some have been broken. Anyone wanting additional info, please contact me. The church is located in Susquehanna Township, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania on Paxton Church Road. I have a call in to the real estate agent to try to find out what church it was and maybe a little history.
