Conneticut Garmany's

My grandfather Hugh Garmony (His name apparently was changed by mistake on his immigration papers from Garmany) came to Australia about 1900 from a small village called CALEDON situated between ARMAGH City and AUCHNACLOY in COUNTY TYRONE near the border COUNTY ARMAGH, IRELAND. Further info http://tyrone.local.ie/content/31033.shtml/caledon There are some interesting links off this site. From my knowledge there is only one Garmony/Garmany family in Australia originating from Hugh Garmony. There are also other family links in South Africa originating from CALEDON, IRELAND.

Cheers
JOHN G.
