FAir Haven Era Jan. 2, 1908
"A large number of young people witnessed the marriage New Year's morning following the Mass at St.Mary's Church of Francis Burton Garneau and Miss Agnes McGuiness of Washington St. The Rev. P.J. Houlihan performed the ceremony. The bride was gowned in a brown travelling suit with hat to match and the bridesmaid, Miss Irene McGuiness, a sister of the bride was in garnet with hat to match. The bestman was Fred Moore and the ushers were Earl Crowley and Arthur Flory. The bridal party went directly to the 11:42 train and Mr.and Mrs. Garneau departed for St.Albans where they will be guests for a few days of the bride's sister Mrs. W.F. Crosby, a resident of that city. On their return they will make their home in Fair Haven.
