GARNEAU/LECLERC OF HARTFORD, CT AREA
Posted by: Helen Phelan (ID *****8925) Date: February 19, 2005 at 16:50:07

I am attempting to do the Garneau Family Tree. This family are descendants of my husband, Thomas Gilbert Phelan. His grandfather was Xavier Francoise Garneau, b. abt. 1868 (who was a house painter) and Julia LeClerc, b. abt. 1874 who had been married in Paris, France and emigrated to the USA. They had two children Eva, b. abt. 1895 (in Hartford) and Wilbrod, b. abt. 1893 (in Hartford) according to the 1910 Census and Jean, who was the brother of Julia. If anyone should have any information about this family I would be very very grateful to hear from you. Helen (gnhphelan@aol.com)
