Well was Louis Garnaud of the 1663 Quebec wedding a protestant?: his wife was, but I have seen that he was CONFIRMED in 1660?, I think only R. Catholics are confirmed?
BTW I live in England but in 1663 my family were vignerons in Burgundy till 1935. It was
Prisque G. I am told who altered the family name spelling from GarnAUD to GarnEAU !
