Hi Cheryl!

I too am trying to research the Garneau line. My great grandparents are Clara Giroux born 5/23/1869 m Theodore Garneau born 4/7/1855 they were married on 10/3/1888 Clara died 6/28/32 in Cadillac Michigan and Theodore died 7/17/26 in Cadillac Michigan. The parents for Clara are Adeline Garnolle (sp) and Frank Giroux. I believe Theodore's father's name was Joseph and Theodore and Joseph came to Michigan via Canada (Quebec). I have no info on who Joseph's wife/mother to Theodore was. I have been told there is a Native American line in the family.

Thanks for any help,

Michzoo
