Im not sure..I could ask my husband. He's the Garnes Im just married into the family. We have some relations there, Robert Garnes (my husbands grandfather) Ivy Belle Garnes (my husbands grandmother) and Burton Maywood Garnes (my husbands father). There are many more, from many many many generations there, my husbands direct family, plus his grandmothers family, and so on. There are some stones there that reflect dates clear back into the early 1800's.
Now there is a cemetary also at Kenna WV, where my husbands great grandfather was buried. There are two different branches of the family, one that settled out at Kenna, and one that went to Foster Ridge. (They were brothers who for some reason split apart, and to this day no one from their side fully knows or even really talks to anyone from our side? No one knows why tho, or what caused the split. Its been said in the family that it had something to do with the Civil War.)
