Dennie Willis Garnes, 81, of Brady, Texas, passed away Thursday, March 7, 2002, in Eden, Texas.
He was born March 1, 1921, in Logan County West Virginia, to Robert Harlow Garnes and Isa Dora(Randolph)Garnes and was a brady resident since early 1980's. Mr. Garnes was a machine operator. He was a member of the Heart of Texas Ham Radio Operators group.
He is survived by his sons Larry(Jan)Garnes of Brady, James Garnes of Wadsworth, David Garnes of Canton, Mark(Linda)Garnes of Creston, Christopher(Rhonda)Garnes of Sullivan,and Paul Garnes of Wadsworth; daughters, Judith(Ed)Heckman of Canton, Brenda(Vancel)Zacharias of Westfield Center, Dennita(Danny)Hinman of Brady, and Darlynn(Tracy)Atwood of Wooster;22 grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife Margaret Riegel, whom he married in Jully of 1940.
No services are scheduled, there will ba a cremation
