I am the daughter of Mark and Linda Garens of Creston listed in the obituary above.

To get technical here, Robert Garnes changed his name legally to Robert Garens for a short period of time due to identity theft. He, and all of his children, later changed their names from Garens back to Garnes except for Dennie W. Garens who left it as Garens. Therefore, the obituary above is not correct, although all the names on it are actually his children/grandchildren, they are all just spelled Garens legally.

All of Robert's other children/grand children are Garnes, so they are actually our relatives while the Garens are not unless they are immediate family.

There are four generations of us now with the wrong spelling after Robert. Please don't exculde us from the family tree!

Rachel Charlotte Star Garens
