Garnett and Vaughn family

I am looking for any information on a John and Nancy (Vaughn) Garnett who are listed in the 1850 Census of Jackson County Alabama. John, Nancy, Martha and Agnes/Alice are listed and John was a stone-cutter. The family is listed in the 1860 Census for Scotsboro, Jackson, Alabama.
The daughter Martha J Garnett born in 1847 is not listed.

Martha J Garnett married a John F Cody in Franklin county Tennessee in April 1865. After Martha and John married they later moved to Nashville, Tennessee. They were listed in the 1870 census and he was a grocer. They had two children Mary E and J Wilbur Cody. Wilbur was my grandfather. Somewhere along the way the spelling of Cody was changed to Codey which has made it difficult to find any information on John F. Cody, my great grandfather.

Martha and her son Wilbur ended up in Louisville KY. The 1900-1920 census lists Martha as a widow and a dressmaker. Martha moved to Columbus Ohio in 1930 to live with her daughter Mary E Cody Davenport and died on September 9,1930 in Columbus Ohio.

Any information will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
