I am Richard Garnet son of James Garnet dob Aug 29 1886, Let me start with the fact that my Dad never spoke of his past except that he was an orphan and ran away from it at an early age, There for there is no information on him from his date of birth to 1917 when he left St John New Brunswick Canada on the last day ofJan 1917 and arrived in england onFeb 16 1917 at which time he was working for Gaston Williams & Wigmore Ltd of London Eng , He was required to fill out an ID booklet which gave present time info except in the location asking where he was born he stated Bangor Penobscot Co. Maine However I had resided in Maine for several years and could not find a thread to follow However where it asked for his fathers birth place he stated his name was John Garnet and born in St. Louis Mo. and His Mother was Nora Garnet born in Sadalia Mo.no dates given For this reason I send you this information hopeing it may connect Note My Mom and Dad were very adamant in keeping the name spelt Garnet not TT, Good luck and regards Richard Garnet N.Y.
