I am interested in your GARRS from Durham, England. In 1853, my gggrandfather Richard Garr (married to Ann Dickerson)came from Durham, England, with their three sons, my ggrandfather John T. Garr, b. 1846, William D. Garr b.1848, and Peter Garr. They arrived at NJ and settled in Dunbar, PA.
William married Mary Rieley in 1875 in Johnstown, PA. They later moved to Montana.
John married Julia Quinn b. 1848 in Ireland. They were married in Michigan, later moved to Pennsylvania where four of their children were born - Catherine, John, Mary, Elizabeth and Sarah. By 1886 they were living near Livingston, Montana, where Maggie, William and James were born.
I don't know much about Peter Garr.
As far as I know they were coal miners with William Garr eventually ranching in Montana.
