Rick,
The interments in the Jacob Garr Cem. in Plainview off Hurtsbourne Ln. In Jeff. Co., is published in Robt. C. Jobson's "Cem. Rcds. of KY, Vol. I, Jefferson Co. Part 1", p. 6. According to the "Gen. of the Descds. of John Gar, or more particularly of his son, Andreas Gaar", Jacob is found on p. 68, as the son of Andrew and Christena [Wilhoit] Garr. In turn, Andrew was the son of Lorenz and Dorothy [Blankenbaker] Garr, and Lorenz is recorded as the son of the emigrant son Andreas, noted above. My wife also descends from Lorenz through the above Andrew's brother, John. If you dont have a copy of the above genealogy, I would be happy to do any look-ups for you. We likewise live in Jeff. Co. and are listed in the phone book.
