Hello,

I am trying to locate a Bob Gaar or Garr who served in Co C 381st Inf., 96th Div. in WWII. He was a Sgt. in the squad my Father ( 1st Squad, 2nd Platoon ). Sgt. Bob Gaar lost a finger in combat on Okinawa. I dont know if this is the Bob Gaar you list as being born in 1918 or not.
I look forward to your reply.

Gene Chatham
