Fannie (Frances) Garr Sims and Sarah (Sally) Gaar were the children of Michael Gaar and Elizabeth Wilhite. The Gaars came from Va to Wilkes County GA. Michael Gaar's father was John Adam Gaar son of Andreas Gaar from Orange CO VA. There are records in the "Early Records of Wilkes County GA" that are on line. When Michael died the minor children were placed in gaurdianship to John Adam Gaar their older brother. Michael Gaar died Lewis Gaar and John Adam Gaar were appointed as administrators of his Estate,
23 Dec 1790 Source Georgia Instate Records by Jeanette Holland Austin.Minor Children listed as Sally. Joel, William, Nancy Angeline, Frances and George Gaar listed as in Elbert Co GA.estate records Listed also is that Lewis Gaar paid William Kidd for their keep. Returns were made by Lewis Gaar of admr from 1791-1795 for Michael Garr's minor children. Fanny Gaar md John Sims 10 Oct 1805 Oglethorpe. CO.GA listed in a book by Francis T Ingamira.
