Katherine Gaar b. Circa 1730-1740, Va. or Pa.

An ancestor of mine's name is preserved in our family oral tradition as Katherine GAAR. She would have been born about 1730-1740. She married a man by the surname Foulk and had the following children: Abe (i.e. Abraham) Foulk, {unknown} Foulk, Betsy (i.e. Elizabeth) Foulk, and Katherine Gaar Foulk who carried her mother's maiden name as a middle name. I am descended from the latter who married John Enochs Sr. and lived in what is now southwest Pennsylvania. The Betsy Foulk who married John Casper Flick in Northampton Co. Pa. 1782 _may_ be the Betsy Foulk mentioned above.

Any information that might throw light on these people and their ancestry will be appreciated.
