My mother's maiden name was Garrabrant. Her father's name was Aaron Garrabrant and her mother's name was Florence Bush. The family resided in West Calcwell, N.J. My mother had a brother named Eneas whom I did not know who supposedly lived in Jersey City,N.J. The parents passed away in 1911 and are buried in Caldwell, N.J.
I have never been able to locate any members of the family preceing Aaron.

Hello,

I feel fairly certain that this must be one and the same Eneas since it is the same state AND it is not a common name. Have you had any communication with your Uncle Eneas's children? They would be cousins to both you and I. I remember Dorrace and her children as we used to see them when I was a child. Dorrace had a daughter Nancy Lou... and my name in Nancy and my sister's name is Lou <smile>. I have lost touch with all of them since growing up.

I am away from home right now so don't have my family tree with me but when I get home next week I will see what else I may have on Eneas and Lucile that might help.

Glad to find you!
Nancy Davies Tang (Lucile was Lucile Davies, my Father's sister.)
