James, thank you for your posting. I am looking forward to seeing your ancestory lineage and decendents. I have lately run across alot of Garrards in Eastern Texas that came via NC. and TN. I am now in the middle of researching them.

I have alot of information regarding my Edwards family and will share it with you if you are interested.

I recently took a 6 week Genealogy Field Trip and one of the places that I spent over two weeks was Russellville, Franklin County, Alabama were my gg-grandfather and his first wife lived. They were James Garrard and Lucinda NOOE Edwards. In fact Lucinda and two of her sons are buried there in the Nooe-Wilson family cemterey.

Their are other Edwards' in Greene County and Hinds County Alabama that I have just recentley run across.
